Absolutely. Plaid helps you share your financial data with the apps you choose––but if you’d like to make a change at any time, we are here to help. There are several ways you can change how you’re sharing data, withdraw Plaid’s access to your financial data, and, subject to a few exceptions, delete your data from Plaid’s systems.
Plaid Portal
You can create a Plaid Portal account to view and manage the connections you’ve made using Plaid, as well as delete your financial data from Plaid’s systems. For more information, please see our Plaid Portal Help Center articles.
You may not be able to manage certain information on Plaid Portal for our newest product experiences, specifically where you have opted into accessing a faster experience. If that is the case, please contact us using our Privacy Request Form or via email.
Our Privacy Request Form
Our Privacy Request Form can be used to submit your request to delete your data, regardless of where you live.
We value the privacy of those who provide personal information to us. This form provides you a quick and streamlined way of providing us all information we need to efficiently process your request - no lengthy back-and-forth necessary!
Additionally, the information provided in the form will be securely transmitted to our dedicated Support team. We understand that some of the identifiers related to the connection to your financial institution can be sensitive, so we automatically encrypt the supporting information we request.
We encourage you to use the Privacy Request Form for efficiency and security, but you can also submit your request via email. Please note that regardless of the submission method, we may still require identifying information to fulfill your request.
Finally, please note that Plaid may retain some information after the completion of the data deletion request, as permitted or required by applicable law. You can visit the Our Retention Practices section of our End User Privacy Policy to learn more.
