When using Plaid, you will have the option to enable passkeys to securely connect your financial accounts at select institutions (e.g. banks) with your chosen app or service.
Enabling a passkey
In the Plaid interface (Link), after entering and verifying your phone number, you will be prompted with the option to enable passkeys. If you decide to enable passkeys, you will need to confirm using Face or Touch ID. After enabling passkeys, follow the prompts in Link to continue connecting your financial account to an app or service.
Using your passkey
The next time you want to connect your account to another app or service, you will be prompted in Link to use your passkey. If you decide to use your passkey, you will need to confirm using Face or Touch ID. Once confirmed, follow the prompts in Link to select and share your previously connected account with your chosen app or service.
