No — simply linking your bank or credit union to an app using Plaid does not mean you have a Plaid Portal account.
You’ll only have a Plaid Portal account if you signed up for one yourself at my.plaid.com.
Good news: you don’t need a Plaid account to use apps that connect to your bank through Plaid. Creating a Plaid Portal account won’t speed things up or make it easier to link your accounts in the future.
