While many app connections are visible within Plaid Portal, others may not be. In order to see as many connections as possible, we recommend that you have verified and added all available connections in your Plaid Portal account. You can do this by taking the following steps:
- Verify all your "matched connections” within the “Overview” tab
- Add any additional financial accounts that you’ve connected using Plaid that did not show up in “matched connections”
- Select “Not seeing everything?” in your connections list if you don’t see all the apps you have connected to your financial institution listed there
Still, you may have additional app connections that are not visible to you through Plaid Portal.
The following types of app connections are currently not supported by Plaid Portal:
1) App connections facilitated by manual microdeposits
If you have connected an app to your financial account manually via the entry of account and routing numbers, or through manual microdeposits, Plaid Portal will not be able to surface those app connections.

2) App connections for certain financial institutions
Not all financial institutions connections are supported in Plaid Portal. If you do not see all your connections, you may be able to directly control access to it via your online banking account. For more information and to see if this is possible, we recommend reaching out to your financial institution directly.
Why do I see multiple connections for the same financial institution?
Adding financial accounts via multiple connection methods may result in seeing those accounts twice in Plaid Portal. Plaid integrations with OAuth have certain benefits over the traditional, non-OAuth experience. When financial institutions migrate to OAuth, you may see a prompt within Portal to find other connections for the same financial account. In this case we recommend that you go through the account connection flow again using another connection method available for your financial institution (steps 4 - 6 outlined here). As a result of doing this, you will see your financial accounts twice under the “Accounts” tab. This is an expected behavior within Plaid Portal during financial institutions’ migration to OAuth.

3) App connections for Plaid products in Beta
The app that you’ve shared your information with may be using a Plaid product that is currently in beta with limited availability. In this scenario, your connection may not be reflected in Plaid Portal. All Plaid products, even if in beta, follow the same security standards as all other available Plaid products.
4) App connections for Plaid Check Consumer Report
Connections to Plaid Check are not currently reflected in Plaid Portal. If you have shared a Plaid Check Consumer Report and want more details, learn more about how to get help here.
