If you’ve just created a Plaid Portal account, you may see some matched connections, which are financial accounts and app connections that we believe belong to you. We surface these connections if we’re able to match the phone number and/or email address you provided when you created your Plaid Portal account to existing data in our systems.
Your phone number and email address may not surface all of the financial accounts and apps that you may have connected using Plaid, so matched connections are not necessarily comprehensive. For example, the financial account may not associate that phone number with you, or if they do, it’s possible Plaid hasn’t accessed it.
If you’d like to add a financial account that you don’t already see in your Plaid Portal account, you can add additional financial accounts that you’ve connected using Plaid to try and see a more complete view of your connections. Adding additional financial accounts may surface additional app connections that do not have access to your phone and/or email address information via Plaid. Once you’ve added and verified all your financial accounts, you should then see the apps you’ve linked using Plaid, subject to a few exceptions.
