If you’ve forgotten your password to your Plaid Portal account, you can take steps to reset it.
- Click here to visit the Reset Password page
- Input the email address associated with your Plaid Portal account using the text box Email address
- Click Reset password
- A verification code will be sent to the email address used in step three, input this code in the text box Code
- Enter a new password in the text box New password
- Must contain at least 9 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One number
- One symbol
- Click Update password
- From there you will be prompted to log in again, using your new password
If you’re able to log in and would like to change the password associated with your Plaid Portal account, you can take steps from within your Plaid Portal account.
- Log in to your Plaid Portal account
- In the upper-left of your Plaid Portal account, click the three horizontal lines to expand the menu
- At the bottom of the menu, click Settings
- Input your current password using the text box Current password
- Input your new password using the text box New password
- Must contain at least 9 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One number
- One symbol
- Click Update to save your changes
- You should receive an email notification that your Plaid Portal account has been updated. If you receive this message in error, and have not updated your password, please reach out to Plaid Support.
